Lori J. Maxwell Hesse, CPA
Lori has extensive experience providing tax planning and compliance services to individuals, business owners, and closely held businesses. She works with clients to navigate complex tax situations and develop strategies that align with their financial goals. Lori’s background includes advising on income tax matters, gift and trust compliance, and related issues such as acquisitions and property transactions.
Her career spans over three decades, including 15 years as co-owner of our predecessor firm, The Maxwell Hesse Group, LLC, and 13 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), an international accounting firm. Responsiveness and personal service have always been the foundation of Lori’s client relationships.
In addition to her work at L Maxwell Hesse LLC, Lori is involved in community and volunteer activities, including The Oregon Humane Society, Portland NET (Neighborhood Emergency Team), and committees at the Multnomah Athletic Club.
Nancy Maxwell, LTC
Nancy is a licensed tax consultant and has been the firm’s primary professional staff member since 1993. She has a wide range of experience, including an emphasis in individual tax and closely-held business, as well as significant knowledge regarding payroll taxes and Quickbooks accounting software.
